UCI Health is comprised of a devoted team of nationally regarded physicians and nurses, researchers and clinicians, educators and students united by a single calling — to improve the lives of the people in our community and beyond.
As the only academic health system in Orange County, our multifaceted organization of nearly 7,000 co-workers is dedicated to the discovery of new medical frontiers, to the teaching of future healers, and to the delivery of the finest evidence-based care. The UCI Health system currently includes Douglas Hospital, located in Orange, CA, a comprehensive medical center complex adjacent to Douglas Hospital, and 30 ambulatory care clinics throughout Orange County. In 2024-25, UCI Health will open a $1.6 billion medical campus in Irvine, featuring the nation’s first all-electric hospital, emergency department, cancer center, acute care center and more. Hundreds of new co-workers will be needed for this world class medical complex.

The UCI College of Health Sciences includes the School of Medicine, Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Program in Public Health, Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute, and numerous centers and teams known for groundbreaking research and novel treatments that power advances in individual and population health.
